About the event
Vibraphonist Vincent Houdijk toured the Netherlands with his band VinnieVibes in 2021, developing a project inspired by the musical life stories of three pioneers on their unique and eccentric instruments.
Coincidentally, Paul Hanson (USA) is in Europe for a concert with Igudesman and Joo. So it was inevitable that there had to be a Mini Reunion from The Polestar Project. On February 15, 2023, an exceptional concert will be given by this formation and the project can be heard again in Paradox Tilburg.
A fusion with crossovers between jazz, classical, minimal music, pop and world music will further shape the international character into a sound image. Vincent studied these musical nomads and formed a coherent whole in his compositions, mixing the characters of the guest artists with the style of his band VinnieVibes.
